Thousands Believe This Man is Jesus

This isn't a breaking story, but I thought I would post on it just in case you have not heard about this guy. Many lunatics have made claims throughout history about being a messiah, but what sets Jesus Miranda apart is that people are actually believing him and putting their money where their mouth is. He actually claims to be Jesus of Nazareth #2 (new and improved), but if you clicked on the CNN link you know that by now. I am speechless. This is a tremendous example of what I have continually said about Christians giving themselves not only a frequent heart check, but a head check as well because our minds are capable of great deception. This is the mother of all examples. God help us.

In the following YouTube video a former Assemblies of God minister takes the podium to give a quick testimony of how he abandoned traditional Christianity and embraced the claim that Jesus has returned in the person of Jesus Miranda. Jesus Miranda asked him how he came to that truth and this is what the former Assembly of God minister said.

“About two years ago I was asked to investigate Growing in Grace Ministries because it was considered one of the most dangerous growing cults. So I investigated, analyzed and studied Growing in Grace. The situation was however that in my investigating I encountered the truth about whom it was that died, resurrected and returned to life and that person is you my Lord.”
